Hooky

I am taking a mental health day. Turns out the timing was right. One, it saved me from committing murder at my place of employment and two, my wife can keep her shift at work. Seems the kids have a day off as well, scheduled, of course.

So I woke up more or less normal time and went for a run with my dog. Then some yoga and then proceeded to making a nice big bacon and egg breakfast. I cleaned the house a bit, including the always popular cleaning a toilet!

I played with the kids for a bit and then took them out for lunch, McDonalds. I don't know if you have heard this or not, but that food isn't very healthy. I had a quarter pounder (shouldn't it be metric here in Canada?) and man is it salty. I was wondering if the salt content in the food had something to do with it staying fresh for six months.

The balance of the day will have me play outside with the kids for a bit, read a bit, and make a simple pasta for dinner, some nice puttanesca.

Hey, sorry off topic a bit. I tried to add you to my blog roll, but it says no RSS feed. Was curious if your blog had an RSS feed?
