It is kind of nice not running around with kid activities. Last night I had a nice cold pumpkin ale with my commuting mate. Then I tried a recipe that I dreamed up. I love corned beef has but I figured that with my new meat grinder, I could get a corned beef consistency with a chourico sausage. So that is what I did, I grinded up a chourico sausage and added it to a grated potato to give a very nice chourico hash. Then the family relaxed with Toy Story 3 and we had a nice movie snack of cheese, apple and grapes. A nice snack considering all the Halloween candy the kids have been eating.
This morning I had a run with the dog then made some pancakes with a nice blueberry syrup. Then I went to Starbucks and Toys R us with the kids. I had an Egg Nog Latte. It was quite good. Lunch was a fried rice that I made with leftover chicken and some white rice and I am just about to start on homemade pizza. (Will take dog for walk while sauce cooks and dough rises.)
Plus Manchester United won.
I think I also figured out what I am going to get the wife for Christmas. Yeah for me because I was racking my brain about that.
