A cultured lunch

We had a cultural potluck at work today. True to the roots adopted from my wife, I made a Portuguese dish of a cod casserole with fried potatoes. (Bacalhau dourado no forno). It was well received and I thoroughly enjoyed myself at this affair. The chick pea dish from one of the Indian workers was my favourite but there was plenty of excellent food from around the world.

The weekend plans are for a busy Saturday and a quiet Sunday. Tomorrow we are heading to Cambridge where I will help my brother-in-law canvass for municipal election. Then back home where Daniel goes to acting and we will partake of the local Culture Days activities. We will wander around and see the artists at work.
