I have done my two days thus far in the 21 day meditation challenge. I followed that up this morning with some yoga. I know that I should have done yoga followed by meditation, but I had a feeling that dog and kid would arise prior to me completing the meditation, so I did it that way. My beautiful wife wants me to save and burn the meditations on to a disk to give to the oldest son. Calm him down. He is much calmer than he was, but a bit of improvement can't hurt.
I need to do more running. Especially as the nights get colder, I get that taste of autumn and the need to run. I see that some trees are starting to turn and the sun is going down before 8:30 and not arising until after 6 now. Two weeks until kids are back at school and less than a month of summer.
Our garden is in full harvest mode. Last nights dinner was (with garden items denoted with *) goat cheese, tomato * and basil * sandwiches with some nice zucchini soup. (soup containing onions *, garlic *, zucchini *, ginger, garam masala and coconut milk) I was quite happy with the soup as it was my own creation, no recipe and it tasted great. I had roasted the spices for the garam masala and ground it just prior to putting it in. I also blended it all to give it a wonderful consistency and the colour is great.
I also made pumpkin cheesecake on the weekend, pumpkin from the garden. It was very good.

I've been running all summer. It's really tough! More like jogging.
You prefer the cold temperature for running?
Mathieu, the autumn is my favorite season. I love running with the colours, the crunching of leaves underfoot.
Then again, you can take some element of joy out of running in each season.
