Camp Recap

I agree with my good friend zydecofish that the luxury of modern living is nice. I like a comfy bed, a good hot meal and a glass of wine, an espresso and a brandy. That being said, camping for the first time in two years was great.

I enjoyed the hikes in the woods, the beach, food cooked over an open fire. Even a decent red out of a plastic cup was fine.

We went to a new campsite this year and it worked out great. The dog enjoyed herself and the kids were good. The only downside was I woke up sore from sleeping on the ground plus with the high humidity it was very warm for sleeping. The mosquitos were crazy as well.

Here are a sampling of photos.

This is us at the lowest point of mainland Canada.

The food. I love the food.
